Dynamic, not Disabled

My daughter's friend Cyndi McMahon, Director of Marketing Communications at Gordon College, is the volunteer publicist for the Accessible Icon Project and has helped spread usage of the symbol through Massachusetts and into New York City. Today I saw a variation in a store in Richmond, Virginia! In doing my research I learned that TJX Companies, parent company of Marshall's where I was shopping, have embraced this icon. How exciting to see an idea take on a life of its own.

My niece is going to Gordon now! And I have seen some people in hand motored wheel chairs going faster than able bodied folks. They are amazing!
