Vermeer's Light

Looking over my pictures from the Frontier Culture Museum, I was reminded of several of Vermeer's interiors. Of course his rooms were upper class 17th century Dutch, but the atmosphere seemed similar in this replica of an Irish farmhouse constructed in 21st century Virginia.

I can see the Vermeer connection too.The light coming from a single source creates a natural focus.
