Let me set the stage: The last day of classes in the Lower School is a half day, and the first order of business is a Town Meeting/ Sing-Along. In between the carols and the music by the 4th grade band and the chorus, the assistant head of school announces the result of the service project undertaken by all the students. Each grade level decorated a Christmas tree (seen in the background) with gift cards purchased for a particular charity selected by the members of the grade. Here is the reveal of just how many gift cards were donated by all the students. They will provide food and gifts for many families this holiday season.
