After eating out on Saturday and Sunday, we had dinner at home and it was the best meal yet. The salad was composed of Sarah's lettuces, radishes from community supported agriculture and the dill from Sarah's boxes. Only the carrots came from out of state.
The pizza was made from scratch, and each of us made our own. Mine is pictured here -- carmelized onions, fresh tomatoes, mushroom slices and shredded mozzarella cheese. Then when the pizza came out of the oven, baby arugula was sprinkled on top, and the crust was brushed with olive oil.
Dessert was heavenly; Florida strawberries made into premium ice cream, using the ice cream maker I gave them last Christmas. Maddie added the perfect finishing touch by whipping heavy cream and adding honey and cinnamon. What a feast and all natural!
