Richmond got its first snow of the winter this morning, and we were able to enjoy it without any nervous tension. Even if it had continued hard enough to cause traffic problems, our schools are already closed tomorrow for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The only snow I encountered when we lived in Charleston was on Friday evening and by morning it was already going away. You are right - no worries. Just the fun making Angels in the snow and having a snowball fight. Somehow, one snow a year is about right!
