Walking with a kindergarten class the other day, we happened to pass over a tributary to a local creek. The teacher called the stream by name, "George's Bend" -- which I had never heard before. There just happened to be a student named George in the group, and he kindly posed for me, creating an historic moment. I don't think either one of us will forget the name of that stream.
