All that rain kept the crowds away from our neighborhood pool. I stopped by this evening when the showers had ended and saw one swimmer doing laps. Maybe the sun will return in June, but as it stands now Richmond has had the rainiest May since the National Weather Service began keeping records in 1889.
On a supporting note, I weeded my patio this morning in the rain. The major challenge was scraping off all the moss that had crept across many of the paving stones this very damp Spring.
Damp wet and only about 12C !
