There flowers are both unique and slightly creepy. Cockscomb flowers are also known as Wool Flowers or Brain Celosia, suggestive of a highly colored brain. That's the part that is creepy. I do love the colors, however, and the many variations of shape. Look carefully at the one on the upper right, and you will see a tiny insect taking a rest.
