I was waiting with my husband at the doctor's office (just a check up) when we heard the sickening sound of brakes and the inevitable following crash. Since the doctor was otherwise occupied, I slipped out to the waiting area where a multitude of patients and office staff were clustered around the plate glass windows. From what I could piece together, an SUV pushed the truck up onto the grass and, after losing a bumper, kept right on going. Fortunately the driver of the truck wasn't hurt. I got this shot after John had finished his appointment, and we were headed home. The moral of this story is that the doctor may be slow, but the police are even slower.
