Two days ago I shared a picture of a termite mound in Tanzania and added that men used the material from these mounds to fashion bricks. Here is a picture of a man using this basic construction material to build his brick house. We saw this in many areas. Our guide pointed out that often the houses look abandoned, but in fact, the people work slowly building only as they can afford.
