At lunch today some of the teachers were talking enthusiastically about a restaurant-grocery store that has just opened in the neighborhood. The original location is in Virginia Beach and many of the biggest fans had fallen under the spell of its special sauce when visiting the beach.
Well, I couldn’t resist. I stopped on my way home from school to pick up sandwiches for the perfect end-of-the-work-week meal.
And for those of you familiar with Richmond, you might recognize the former Westhampton Theater now repurposed and thriving.
