Every year I pick a company with the best offer to create a photo book of my year’s pictures. This year I chose Re-snap. What I didn’t realize was that they are based in The Netherlands, which naturally made the process much longer. To extend the journey even more the package went through customs in England. When it finally arrived at my doorstep, the package felt suspiciously,light. The reason soon became apparent. The box was empty. Somewhere after clearing customs, the package came unfastened and between England and Richmond, my photo book disappeared. Fortunately the firm made good on the screw-up and sent another copy. After several weeks the second package arrived and this time the book was still inside! After all the drama, I’m glad to say the quality of the photos was good, but next time I don’t think I will select a company that throws in extra obstacles.
