The Secret Ingredient

My friend Ellen and I walked over to the VMFA after the lecture at the VMHC and had lunch at the cafe. This seasonal chili was made with pumpkin and turkey and, although I am not a fan of all things pumpkin, this was really good. I think because the pumpkin was treated as a vegetable rather than a dessert item.
Here pumpkin is a vegetable. I like the angle of the bowl on the plate
