Never had a smart phone until now and experimenting with it with interesting results! I am also using Snapseed to process the images.
I don't think I have a halo yet! But am willing to believe that the camera sees what we can't Ha ha.

In Snapseed, there is the Tutorials section and I can recommend you try those out. Almost all tutorials have detailed steps as well as an option to apply all steps to your selected photo. I have found quite a number of tricks in there.
Interesting! Welcome to world of smartphones. I’m getting a bit tired of all the time the device consumes… Beware of that. I hold on to the damn thing because of the camera. Haha. Good excuse. I use snapseed too but mainly to straighten my horizons. And I use hipstamatic most of the time for after effect. I used to take my pictures with it too but stop doing so after an update I didn’t like. Good luck with the phone and the approach to 365 :-)
@monikozi@mastermek Thanks for this. I shall check out the Snapseed tutorials & have a look at Hipstamatic but don't envisage using the phone for much photography as I carry a small Fuji X70 with me most of the time. I look upon the phone more as a bit of fun and easy to grab for snaps.
