@randystreat This of course is part of a major engineering project around here that is to do with flood prevention but your observation on holes beneath us is so true. We live in what was a major coal mining area and below is riddled with major tunnels most of them stable but it is not unknown for a sink hole to open up, thankfully it is quite a rare thing to happen.
