173 days into my year long making of a daily still life. I was looking through some images on the National Gallery's website and come across the 17th. Century artist Francisco de Zurbarán, I had heard of him before because of his religious pairings but was quite surprised to see a still life entitled "A Cup of Water and a Rose" this inspired me to make this photo.
