13 years ago today, I got an engagement ring. Today, I opened my car to a beautiful bouquet of 12 heart shaped balloons. They are full of great promise and could maybe lift me up and take me off on an exciting adventure, no doubt full of photo ops:).
I had my job interview this morning and felt like I handled myself very well. I was confident and comfortable. She said that I would either get a call back for a second interview or she would send an automated email to tell me that I did not get it. I said, "Well I won't be looking for that email!" I opted against wearing the sweatband or doing lunges, and actually did pull off a professional look, I think. I added my new red jacket for some Valentine's Day pizzazz.
I had wanted to do a selfie today and mostly ran out of time because of the interview. I had all of 10 minutes before preschool pick up to do this quick shot in the parking lot. As I was doing this, another class mom walked over to see what the heck I was doing with a tripod, camera and a huge bunch of balloons running around like a mad lady.
Well, we've never met in person; but I imagine you as a person who always has a smile and is a bundle of energy! I'm sure you won them over in the interview! I love your selfie...so cute and love the reds!!
@tbats22 Is that other one better? It is so hard to pick sometimes. I liked my positioning there better, but face here. None of them were perfect. Shoot. That's what you get in a 10 minute selfie shoot in a parking lot!
You are one lucky lady - what a romantic gesture! We got engaged 42 years ago today!! And our darling granddaughter turned 5 today. . .so much excitement.

OMG, you are too funny. . . . . and courageous. I could never imagine setting something like that up in public. Here's hoping you don't get any automated emails today.
@chelmck Aw, thanks, friend. I was so glad to get the coat for only $30 a couple weeks back. I'd seen it at the beginning of winter and loved it, but could swing it full price. I love red coats, but am too practical to get one usually.
@cdonohoue Oh, me, too. The financial help would be great and it would get me some more adult time, too. Plus then I could sorta justify buying a new lens if I am bringing in some bucks:). Thanks, Cathy!

This work week was unpleasantly busy, and then to top things off, my phone died, so I'm without internet access by phone until Monday when the replacement arrives. So, I guess it was involuntary separation from 365 -- but, in some ways, it does feel a bit freeing. I love everyone on here and I don't want to stop learning, so I want to keep up with it. But, I'm probably going to become a weekend uploader.
@rockinrobyn I mostly enjoyed my week of when I was on vacation recently, but found myself checking impulsively on my hubby's cell more frequently than I would have liked. The not uploading and worrying about it was nice, though. I still need some kind of patch or something to quell my addiction. Maybe better than last year???? Not certain. Sorry about the work busyness, though it gives you better job security that way, I guess! See you 'round on weekends, then, my friend!

balloons to start with and then getting greener as you have a red coat to match them! Fingers crossed for the job, I have an interview on Thursday myself...
