I captured some x's today for my alphabet project. It is cold and gray and I struck out to an old red barn along the road to Morrow to photo these for some color on this dismal day.
I had my 2nd interview this morning. It went pretty well, but could have gone better...as I pondered afterward how I answered questions. It is so tough to have specific examples of workplace experience when I have been out of the workplace for so many years. I hope to hear something back, and still hoping to get that job, tomorrow.
great shot. Interviews are tough. The more you do them the better you get. do you volunteer or have other life experience you can use to demonstrate skills? not all work skills need to be found through work!
I'm sure you did better than you think. When I had my interview I was convinced I'd made a real hash of it but I got the job anyway. Fingers and toes crossed for you. Love this with the peeling paintwork xx
@paul2782 Thanks, Paul! Hope that you see my wrapping paper shot that I dedicated to you today:-). Just a little gift for the weekend! It's in my other album.
@hopelessromantic Thanks, Peter. No word yet. Maybe I will hear tomorrow...or there is better out there for me!
@kwind I just love peeling paint...unless it's on my home or car, etc. Such great subject for a photo, though. Thanks!
@barbsmith I wanted to drive the x point home, huh? I wondered if I should have zoomed in on one, but I liked them all together. Thanks, lady. I didn't hear back today? Maybe tomorrow.
@soboy5 Thanks so much, Danny. I hope that it works out, but not sure if it will. If not, I am sure that there is something better out there for me...like getting paid to do the 365 project;-). Could you imagine how nice that would be?!
@maggiemae I don't know...I was for sure less confident in this one than the last one. This lady was more standoffish, less comfortable to be around. I didn't hear back today, so who knows. If not, than maybe I should find a camera shop near me. The discounts would be marvelous!
@masosy Really appreciate your sweet comments and encouragement, Kate. No call today, but maybe they didn't make their decision yet...or maybe it's not the best job for me now. We will see.
@egad Aw, thank you, lady! Appreciate that so much!
@lfrans I do some, but they were specific work related questions. Hopefully I will do better should I have any other interviews soon. So tough to be so rusty! Thanks, lady!
@edie Thanks, lady. I so love some weather paint (unless it's on my stuff and is not supposed to look that way!).
@automaticslim I am only half heartedly looking. I don't want my project to be consumed with the alphabet. Looking forward to seeing your clever letters:)!
@noragentian Thanks so much, Ruth. Appreciate that!
@fueast I do, too...yet I didn't hear today, so maybe not as likely that I will. Perhaps I can find a job in a camera shop or start writing that book that I've been putting off...Thanks!
