After getting a kick in the pants yesterday from a 365 friend who noticed that my glumness was coming though in my images, I set out to try to capture joy today. And wouldn't you know it was pouring rain today. I laughed at the irony.
I almost titled this shot Tears on my Tulips, but that would have been keeping with my melancholy theme. No, instead these tulips are drenched in joy. I, too, am drenched in joy, as my joy lies much deeper than how I am feeling on any given day. My Joy is from the true source of Joy who gives it freely to all who seek it and ask.
Really nice rain drops ( tears of joy) on this pretty tulip and i also really like the dof with the 2 tulips in tne background getting progressively smaller and blurred.
@steampowered Shew, glad it hadn't been too obvious. I had a couple people ask me about it after my image a few days ago where my daughter had thrown my flowers in a lake.
@psychographer Aw, thanks sweet lady. I got some more of these today in the sunshine. They are so gorgeous! I opted to post fungus instead to take a break from the flowers. I don't want to get Cromwell mad;-).
