I had a wonderful morning photo field trip with my local 365 friend, Katie. Both of us are mamas of 3 kiddos and both of us needed the morning off after a long week. We got lost walking around Spring Grove Cemetery for hours. It was a perfect start to the weekend.
Katie had noticed this puddle and she was trying to do puddle shots for the theme. I got on the other side to try some for myself and we ended up shooting each other. Our shots were totally different. I noticed that since we were both wearing black and had our same color hair in pony tails and had cameras in our faces that just a straight reflection of her looked like a selfie. I opted to include her and the reflection to show that it was not me.
@katiebrenkert Ha...here you are, too. I love how our shots were so different. Your reflection was pretty stellar. I wanted both you and the reflection in there.
That is so cool! What a great shot of her and how fun to have a friend to do that with! I'm pumped because I get to hook up with @sistawood in a week or so to shoot.

@fueast It was so fun. I love that you have some great people by you to photowalk with, too! We need to do this way more often. I wasn't super inspired that day, but it was so very nice to get out and see/shoot a new place.
@eyesmile Thanks so much, Gena!! It was supposed to be really cold...30 something. I got all bundled up and was a little hot. It was in the 40's maybe and sunny. I didn't need the hat, gloves or earwarmers I brought. My down jacket was a bit much, too. Looking forward to more predictable weather!

@karenanne I am going to try to take photo walks with my son who is newly into photography, too. You could always ask a friend...you may be surprised what people are willing to do. Yeah, maybe not, though if they aren't into photography. Those who aren't think we are nuts by some of the things we do for a photo! Hope you find one you can do this with:)!

@amandal - There maybe be more then I know of. I know of one 365er who lives in northeast Ohio, about 45 minutes from me and another live in northwest Pa. about 35 minutes from me. But being that they are both the opposite sex, might make it difficult to explain to my wife why we are getting together. Just sayin'.
@amandal WAY too hot. At least come August. I'm down in Austin, though I did live up in Dallas probably something like 10 years ago. We still go up there and visit friends at least once a year.
I have been missing your shots. I don't know why. I really really like this. Your getting right down on the ground there is awesome...and is making me laugh. I'm sure it wasn't nearly as comfy as you make it look. Like a dancer right? Make it look effortless.
