This is how I referred to Hope today as my 40 pound "puppy" acted like she was a lap dog and snuggled on my lap cradled in my arms as I attempted to play checkers with Lucas. Lucas quickly and soundly beat me. I blame my easy defeat on the dog;-).
All three kids are home sick today. Clara has been sick all week. Emily is home from school for the second day and Lucas stayed home, too, because he is hacking out a lung. All three are on and off feverish. Hoping and praying for them to be well enough for school tomorrow. This mama needs a break!

Love the shot! He's beautiful and looks so calm for a lab! I had a lab/pointer mix who lived til 16 and have such a soft spot for these wonderful dogs.
What a gorgeous portrait of your pup! Great job getting the exposure balance with all the black too. So sorry to hear about all the kiddos and hope it clears up soon!

Perfect for the kids...and she gets us out walking regularly so keeps us healthier, too. Not so fun in the snow and bad weather, though:).
