Today I took Clara to Kings Island on the last day of school before Lucas and Emily got out for the summer. It was our last fling before the craziness ensues. We met my friend and running partner, Jen, and her son, Charlie, who is one of Clara's best friends. The two kids walked hand in hand and I couldn't pass up the cute photo op.
@nana2r Thanks, Carren. I really appreciate your kind words. How much time do you have left?
@kwind I can't believe it either. This year FLEW by!! Hope that summer doesn't seem super long and boring. I've got to come up with ways to keep them busy and keep me sane!!:)
@snaggy No, we get tons of sibling rivalry around here, too. It is so so nice those rare times that they get along. These two here are friends, though, not brother and sister. Thanks for your comments!
@barbsmith Yes, maam. I am really enjoying the age and wanting to keep her there. It's tough when your last is getting bigger and growing out of baby phases. Most things I won't mind not dealing with...diapers, carrying or strollers all the time, etc. But when she is too big to hold...oh boy...
@maggiemae I took a bunch and most had distractions. I had to crop and clone, but in the end, this one that was shot just this way was best. I only wish I hadn't missed some of her shadow in the shot. Dang it!;-)
Thanks all so much for appreciating my shot of Clara holding hands with her Charlie friend. My little girl seems awfully giggly and silly already with boys and this scares me a tad. I don't really encourage it for hopes to hold her off boys til 25, but...man, this stuff is so cute to see.
That is so precious. They look like sweethearts, strolling along. But they are just little kids. I think the tiny peek of her sunglasses contributes to the illusion that they are older. :-)
I hadn't even noticed the issue with her shadow until you mentioned it. Darn, it is a shame that you missed it. Still a VERY cool shot to treasure.
@tonydebont Aw, thank you, Tony!!
