I had THE best day today. It was so full of fun and photos.
First I had a much needed date with my sis. We went for a run through her part of town and I noticed lots of places that I wanted to get photos of. We drove back and I got my chance after the run. We also went to the city and saw Findley Market and City Flea. I had lots of practice shooting street candids and city shots.
Later in the afternoon, we met up with my whole family (Mike and the kids) and my parents at the Cincinnati Reds game. We baked in the sun and watched our team lose, but it was still some old fashioned American fun. I liked this candid of some of the fans sitting by us best for the day. I was so impressed by the sea of red in the stadium, enjoyed the people watching and had fun showing my kids how to do the wave.
It's a great candid shot, with the intensity of body language, all the red, and the feeling of camaraderie. We sadly watched our team lose tonite (the Blackhawks) watching TV on a rainy night...
love all the red and the shades (yeah - i know it's already been said - but it's the first thing i thought BEFORE i saw the other comments ;p)... anyway, nicely spotted and an excellent shot... sounds like a really wonderful day!

What a wonderful candid shot, Amanda. You are going to have so much fun in NYC with your camera and ME and whomever else you are meeting up with. By the way, the Oakland A's are doing great and the SF Giants are struggling.
@amandal Post when you get back. It is only 4 days. Make the most of the time you are there. You may have to sleep when you get home if you are out and about all hours having fun, seeing and photographing so many things. 365 will be here waiting for you to return and regroup.
