While walking down NYC's famous shopping street, 5th Avenue, we came upon this gorgeous cathedral, Cathedral of St. Patrick. We stepped inside to get a break from the heat and for me to take a few shots. It was pretty ornate and quite stunning inside, even despite of the construction and renovations going on.
Classic and Iconic NYC landmark. Well seen and captured Amanad. That construction outside pretty much cover the entire church. Glad you had a chance to check it out.
What a gorgeous photo, Amanda. Always wanted to take a photo like this or at least see a Cathedral like this one. Living in a dizzy world and will try to keep caught up with you but may have to come back in a day or two. FAV
Thank you all so much for your great comments about this lovely place. I'd like to see it again when the construction is completed. It was my first time taking photos in a cathedral and I can't wait to do it again! I want one with a rose window and more stained glass next time (that and a wide angle lens;).
