Yesterday evening, I was out and about when I am normally indoors getting the kids to bed. It was amazing to watch the setting sun, be out during the golden hour and witness a hot air balloon glow event (that my 365 friend, Katie, told me about). I was in my glory taking photos.
Many, many more images to slog through, but this one stood out to me as very special. The most meaningful of the bunch. It's of my 3. They have a flare for melting my heart and making me warm inside. I love how little sissy, Clara, is looking over at her big siblings. I adore these kids. I only wish that being home with them all summer drove me a little less nuts.
@thirtysevenways You inspired me with your awesome shot of your kiddos awhile back. How did I do while waiting in line for lemonaid at an event? Not the ocean as a background, but it works:).
@thirtysevenways Thank you, my friend. I think that you slipped when you hit the button, though (it didn't take:). Hope you are having a wonderful weekend with your family. And thanks again for the inspiration!!:)
Excellent photo and how wonderful that it is your own children- print it-frame it. Thank you for all your views, comments and Favs that helped my photo to TT this week. Very grateful.
Wonderfully beautiful shot! This one is to be cherished for sure. FAV. Really great silhouettes!!! SIGH! Cherish these moments... trust me they grow up waaaay too fast! My youngest just turned 40 and I still can't believe it!!
@masosy I found my inspiration last night finally. I think that the blueness was partially due to not taking many photos...no great ops and being stuck at home with crabby kids. I was in my element last night. Not much makes me happier...Thank you!
@emrob I am a drama girl. In that I love it. In photos anyway. Not so much in real life unless it's an exciting story that I can tell about. Love that you love and faved this. You are a sweet friend. Thank you!
@archaeofrog Katie, thank you. I am super duper honored by the fav, knowing that you don't toss them around. They are serious to you. This made my day:).
@jodimuli I agree. So pleased that the kids and the light cooperated. Thank you, Joey!
@aleksandra Thanks, Aleksandra. I did back off a tad this week. It was sort of good, though I didn't like my lesser comments so much. Oh well, what do you do?!
@eyesmile Thank you so much, my Gena friend. I really appreciate your ever so kind comments, fav and exuberance. You make me smile!
Totally gorgeous! (Seen on PP - and congrats). Love the sunflare and silhouettes. And the little one looking up. Your commentary fills in all the gaps.
@rennes Thanks so very much for the fav and sweet words, Lisa. :)
@jcarrollphoto Thank you, Jim. Really appreciate your words and fav. So glad that it turned out. The kids only let me take a few shots and people kept walking by (we were at an event).
@misterkitty I love your sweet words, Amber. So glad that you feel that way after seeing my kiddos and pleased that your hubby is happy, too. Awesome. 3 kids is a bunch and overwhelming at times, but oh so amazing, too. Kids are such a blessing. And oh, when they are all getting along and sweet with one another, it's bliss.:)
@bristolrose Thanks, lady. I may need to frame this one. So appreciate the fav!
@bobfoto The salvation bit confused me. You going home soon...3 flights...sheesh? Keep surviving...Oh and back to the fish and squealing...how many women would pick up fish with their bare hands? Hmmm. Sure I shrieked a bit, but I still did it. I pick up worm, too...and (hangs head) shriek. I have one more bit of proof, though and will tag you.
@amandal our trip was spectacular! we were in Utah and Arizona - we visited (and hiked in) three national parks (Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce) with this fabulous tour company called Backroads... i have a gazillion shots - most on flickr (altho' to avoid boring the pants off my followers there most are marked private to friends only - i will be sharing them with others who were on the tour)... there were lots of kids in the group, so our kids had others their age to hang out with and it really worked out perfectly :)
@northy Sounds AMAZING!! We are going to upstate MI soon and I am looking forward to all of the great photo ops on the great lakes:). Love summer travels and seeing new and lovely places. So much more fun as a photographer, too. Can't wait to see more of your trip!
@myhrhelper Thanks so much for the sweet words, Kathy. Being that it was my kiddos, I treasure this shot:)!
@darrenboyj Thank you so much, Darren!
@jannkc Of course! Thank you!!

oh and I know a girl who caught this: http://365project.org/bobfoto/365/2012-01-18
@bobfoto I did kill a man (of snow) once. And I took a photo to prove it. My neighbor caught me preparing the body for a photo. That was rather embarrassing... http://365project.org/amandal/365-year-2/2013-01-04
