Don't Look Now, but This "Lady" has a Handlebar Mustache!!
She's wearing sunglasses, too!!
I normally really stink at bug photos. My lens is no good with small stuff, but I practiced today when we seemed to have a ladybug infestation and was happy with the fun detail that this shot picked up.
@bobfoto Shot a bug today (not my normal subject matter because I lack the proper equipment). I was surprised to discover our ladies have facial hair here!!!
@eyesmile It is my home. Hopefully for not much longer either. We found and put an offer on a place today. It is a wood house. I sharpened it up a bit so it's more textured than usual.
Great details, composition and the simple white background! I've never heard of evil ladybugs as the others have commented on! As far as I know, we only have the good ones in Canada! ;)
@bobfoto That's the word on the street. As I said, I don't know from experience. That's just what I thought you were talking about. On your sloth post you wrote "Too many questions.." or something like that. I should have replied..."What do you mean?!" That was what I lost you about. Hope the ladybirds are kind to you today.
@gozoinklings Yeah, thanks so much for seeing this, too. I was blown away by the coolness and strangeness of it and most people didn't seem to notice. Nice ladybug. Great red. Love the wall. No, look at the freakish mustache this thing has!!;-)
Thanks so much for your great comments on my lady that looks like a dude (aka ladybug with a funny mustache). Has anyone ever noticed this before?! Crazy the things the camera picks up! Thanks, friends!
That's funny. Amazing what you notice. Just read an article about the increase in lady bugs. In Autumn they're more noticeable, due to they're preparations for winter.
@losthorizon I had never seen so many at once before. I thought that maybe the landscapers released them for pest control or something. Maybe it was a fall thing. It was sooo cool! I wonder if they all have this mustache face? Thanks for appreciating it, Beau!
@bobfoto I've picked up the expressing "eh?" on 365. We don't really say that in the US. I now say "eh?" to my kids and I hear them saying it now at times, too. It makes me smile when people write it on here. You did above, if you are confused. Not Swahili here, just plain old English, eh?
@amandal - Australians don't have a big difference in accents, sure some say schooool instead of skol and some say maul instead of maaaal and we all know what Kiwis sound like eh bro, but the thing that defines a Queenslander is the ability to put either eh or but on the end of every sentence eh?
It is always a classic when we put both eh and but on the end of a sentence like "Top day out eh but?". But we don't do that all the time eh?
Cool shot and love the detail. I did not know they look like this. Been trying to capture a good ladybug for quite some time. Love your tags. You are too funny.
@amandal - No, I'm neither a Canadian nor a Taswegian nor a Queenslander by birth. I only adopt the language of my adopted state so I fit in betterer. eh?
@bobfoto Oh shoot, because all of the pieces were falling into place...the beard, the toenails...everything. So confused again;-). Have a good weekend, eh, Jason.
@darsphotos Thought this was crazy. Thanks so much for your great words and for appreciating the tags, my friend. Those are so fun to do:).
@bobfoto I may not. I think I am starting to go stale. All in good fun, eh. Loved your Hope jokes that I missed when I first saw them this morning...hadn't finished the coffee yet.
@jamibann Thanks sooo much for the fav, Issi:)!!

@sunshinephoto5 Thanks, lady. That is hilarious!!:)

@dmdfday Thank you very much, Diane!:)
