It started off with a bright red orange band of light in the blackish bluish sky. And I watched it develop as I made the kids lunches and we sat down to breakfast. We ooohed and ahhhed over the beauty in the sky over our Cheerios and when I could stand it no longer, I ran and grabbed my camera and stepped out the back door to capture the color, the amazing artistry of God's hand in the sky.
This is another view of my amazingly gorgeous sunrise that I was blessed with yesterday morning. Yesterday's version was the ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) edition. Both shots are not altered in any way and are SOOC (straight out of the camera). This is rare for me. I usually edit most all of my shots just a bit...nothing nuts, but I do some work on my photos, but these were stunning on their own and needed nothing.
I am still amazed that this came on the day after I was feeling so in need of color. The gray was killing me. I mentioned that need, that desire even on here and the next morning, this was my gift. I don't think it was a coincidence. I praise God for the ways he shows His love for us, His creation.
Thanks sooooooo much for your fab response to yesterday's shot. I loved it, but was uncertain how it would be received. And you blew me away with the kind things you said and all of the faves and support. I appreciate you all so much!!
Oh and a peek into my life, last night I was replying to a friends email on Facebook and started to sign it Fav. A sign that I spent waaaay too much time 365ing yesterday. Anyone else weird like that and faving photos elsewhere and such? And funnily enough, the email wasn't even all that good, but it was inviting me to come a photograph a Zumba event this weekend. More practice for me. I wonder how hard it will be to shoot while doing Zumba?
I like this one better than yesterday's! Fav! Gorgeous! And yes, I've seen photos on FB and thought "fav" but held back as I'm sure the recipient would think I was nuts!
I do the same - thinking that is, I never actually write it! I also want to "like" some on 365! Glad you are seeing such beautiful colour - the clouds help!
Oh my! I missed yesterday's shot but so glad to get to see both today! Fantastic! Love your words and your testimony.
I'm ready for winter to be over too!
Love your commentary.Mother Nature does it best...and you were there to capture it.Stunning colors!I find myself typing FAV on facebook all the time! People just think I an strange, lol
@rvwalker Not see the sunrise I guess. I've heard it's a wall of green. I can't wait!:) Though i do love the sunrises, but the privacy and quiet of the canopy will be nice!
