I really am, especially when it comes to the snow. It is soooo magical and fun to me. Yes, it's cold, but so gorgeous.
Even though it was pretty chilly, I enjoyed my time in the glorious white stuff today.
Back in the summer, I took a photo of myself standing in the rain: http://365project.org/amandal/365-year-2/2013-06-06. Somehow it is still my #1 rated photo...which makes no sense to me. I've had waaay more popular and well received shots, but...who knows. Anyway, I thought I'd try a snowy version.
So undecided about my selfie today, so I am putting up both. Because I can.

@amandal Brrrr wow, that does sound cold. The new house is fantastic thanks, sooo nice to be in our own home again (rented abroad and then when we got back for a 3 years). Not quite as cold here but raining lots and lots
Sounds very cold indeed, we haven't had a single flake this year, barely even a frost which is a pity because I love snow too (and really wanted to get some good snow pics for my Project!)
This is a really joyous shot. And, I can totally see why the photo you put the linked to is so popular. It's so emotional - a little sultry, a little sad, a little mysterious.
What a great happy shot!! The joy comes through. And I agree with Mrs. L re the reason the other shot is at #1 in your file, BUT I also agree that the ones in our files listed as top 10 make no sense compared to others we've done that have more visits and fav's. Never understood Ross' system.
The ratings can be pretty goofy. Anyway, I like the snow too. A little discomfort is just fine for the chance to explore the beauty. A very cute selfie.
I like this one best of the two. Someone said you look like Mary Tyler Moore at the beginning of her show and I agree. You did an awesome selfie, Amanda. FAV
This is such a gorgeous selfie, Amanda. I love the snow. Just wish we'd actually get some, so I could play in it too. I'm finding it difficult to choose a favourite out of the two shots. They're both such fun for different tasks.

it's amazing looking at these cold snowy pics whilst we sit here with the aircon just about exploding from over use due to the humidity and relentless sunshine outside - beautiful shot, wish I could have one land on my nose too :0)
