I had a great day today. We slept way in (not the kids, but they were quiet for us). Had a leisurely breakfast that Michael made for us. And then all snow suited up and went out to play in the snow. Highlights were the great snowball fight, attempting and failing to be able to get the snow to stick for a snowman, and laying on my tummy to take this shot. Clara dumped snow on me while I lay there and kept saying how it was like the sand at Clearwater Beach in FL.
A bit later, my hands were numb from taking off my gloves to take the photos and I went inside. I took off my snow gear and piles of snow dumped out of my hood. That girl!!
But I really love the stuff...It's so FLUFFY!! And can I just say that snow in the sunshine is amazingly gorgeous all sparkling like diamonds.
Love leisure. I think it's the not having to think too much or do anything that is appealing. Could be wrong, but don't think so :) Nice DOF and whiteness.
What an interesting perspective . . . I must admit to never having been that low in the snow in my life, except when I fell while skiing. I didn't see snow until I was an adult, so I think I lost out on snow playing. And, i agree with you about sparkling snow like diamonds. Ours was that way today, too!
