Is this Charlie Brown's cute little redhead that he has a crush on? No, it's my other new neighbor and soon to be friend, Mr. Cardinal. He's venturing closer, getting braver around me.
Maybe it's the bird seed? Maybe he knows I am 'red', too;-).
In any event, I love him and his vibrant color in the snow. I only wish he had perched on a more scenic, but yet still close place. Come on, dude. Get with the program. If we are going to be friends, you are going to have to cooperate with the camera. Nice pose, though.
And thank you all so much for your overwhelming response to the snowy squirrel yesterday. Hope (our lab pup) chased him off to thank him today. I sure hope he comes back for more photos and seed.

@darsphotos He sure is. Love that he is our state bird and I get to see the flash of red once in awhile. More so now that our birdfeeder is once again up. I think that is bringing the squirrel, too. Thanks, my friend!!
