Peeking into Narnia by alophoto

Peeking into Narnia

That gosh darn White Witch is keeping us eternally in winter this year. I'm growing to hate her. To despise the white stuff.

All I want to do is lie down in a field of grass and look up at the clouds and feel the sun on my face. Or touch my feet in the sand of a hot beach and walk along the wet shoreline.

I yearn for a warm day. I want to wear shorts again and not always feel cold for a change. I am sick and tired of winter.
Wonderful photo of the white stuff though! :-)

You all stole our snow! We;ve had none - the snow fairy has been very uneven with her scatterings this year. So pretty (for a while at least eh?)
February 25th, 2014

Still a wonderful shot!
February 25th, 2014
I love this. I always like the winter scenes with just a hint of color. Without it you almost think It is a black and white photo.
February 25th, 2014
You poor things. Hopefully it ends soon. We haven't had any snow this winter and I'm actually missing it (grass is always greener!). Lovely shot.
February 25th, 2014
Oh dear more snow for you and not a single flake here either. A beautiful winter wonderland Amanda. Keep warm!

Fabulous capture

Seriously! We had some flurries and I was sending angry texts to my husband about it while he was at work. Shocking I didn't get a response to my urgent issues! I was lying on our family room floor in front of a window just to feel the warmth of the sun today. Spring needs to come now.
February 26th, 2014
@egad Oh my goodness, yes. Last year we had snow on the first day of spring break. I'm from FL. That was SOOO wrong!
February 26th, 2014
What a beautiful shot, Amanda. Wanna trade? It was 80 yesterday and in the 70's today but changing and we will have rain later in the day tomorrow into Thursday and a bigger system on Friday into Saturday. We are supposed to get 1-2 feet of snow in the mountains. The farmers are getting cut back as to how much water they are getting and may end up being 50%. So when you have to pay a lot more for meat or produce, thank mother nature. Hoping that it rains now till Summer or at least till the end of May. I do not like the cold weather at all but we will have two rather warm storms, in the 40's-50's at the coldest. It will end at your house and be Summer before you know it. Keep warm and pretend it is nice and warm. Use your imagination.

February 26th, 2014
You're gonna hate me, but I like the snow and am hoping for more. This has a beautiful delicacy that I enjoy.
February 26th, 2014
No doubt a frustrating event on top of all the cold you've endured. You've created an incredible image to illustrate it.

Beautifully captured and it does have this Narnian mysterious mood
February 26th, 2014

February 26th, 2014
Gosh, what a shot. Can understand your glumness. We've seen our weather improve over the last week.
February 26th, 2014
Magical snowy scene - Never lived anywhere snowy - so only associate snow with gorgeous skiing holidays we've had. Hope you soon get some sunshine and warmth.
