This is my Ode to Pink Floyd for the Mad Hatters Dark Side of the Moon theme this week. I couldn't get it together to pull off my shot this week because of my busy weekend, but I thought that I would still give it a go and play along.
So thankful that we have an alternate player to fill in now and that Edie agreed to stick around and be our backup. It's cool to have Lou join the team, too:).
So my girls were happily playing last night and I thought that I would try a few straight jacket selfies. I was in another room laughing like mad and shooting photos and my girls came to investigate what the heck I was laughing so much at. It was pretty funny and only added to my laughter.
@losthorizon I gave it a go for fun. What do you think? Too much crazy, too much blur? Did I capture the right vibe? I had less crazy versions, more clear, but...I don't know, this seemed so right.
LOL! My husband (and kids) would be hauling me off to the looney bin if I did this and maybe I just will sometime, and we could be twins in our straight jackets :-) Seriously you are quite the actress! Wonderfully funny!
Oooo, this one is very artsy. I like this depiction of the madness a bit better than the other shot. This shot represents the futility of breaking away...powerful and amusing at the same time, which I gather was your point.

amanda, I have to say all your selfies made me keep looking back at all your photos. I have to say I love how creative you and and enjoy all your photos and I needed someone to inspire me and you did that. Thanks.

@northy No, just a white jacket on backwards and buttoned up. Tried to keep my hands tucked behind. In some shots they stuck out and I had to attempt to edit them out. This one came out so creepy though with the blur. Thanks!
