Leave it to me to capture such awkwardness. I thought he was just chillin' out. Resting. And here he was picking his nose. Talk about comfortable and not caring what anyone thinks.
Anyone else ever capture such candid awkwardness at the zoo or otherwise? Any nose picking selfies out there?;-)
a, they do all sorts and they can be as prima donna as humans, too. long ago, we took the grandkids to the local safari and there was a bunch of apes who climbed on our van. one just flattened his face against my sjde of the window when he saw me with the camera. wouldn't leave for a long time but i just refused to take a photo. when everyone else got off the vehicle he climbed on to the hood in front of me and rubbed his butt on the windshield after which he put his finger in his butthole and ran away. the grands although grossed out were so amused they remember it to this day.
Yes, to the awkward zoo moments! Once, a giraffe taking a leak. Another time a gorilla who was very happy to see his wife (on a school trip, thank goodness the kids didn't ask any questions!) Anyway, this guy looks quite content!
