The other night, Mike and I got on a very last minute date to a Reds baseball game. He had gotten tickets from a friend at work and we secured a sitter 15 minutes before we left. A neighbor kid who Michael also works with in our church youth group. So glad to finally find a sitter to hire for when my parents aren't available. Our first hired sitter since living in OH.
It was so fun to get out with him and people watch and eat fun stadium treats. We had eaten dinner before we left, or I'd have wanted one of these hot dogs. We actually had access to the Party Barn where there was a pretty good looking food spread. Such a bummer that we had already eaten, but we did get free beer:).
We are supposed to go again tonight with the whole family. It will be a totally different experience. Hope that I can make it, too, as I have been feeling kind crummy today. I don't think I will mess with the camera this time, I will have my hands full with the kids. And I just may have to pass on the stadium food again to protect my funky tummy.
@vignouse Thank you so much, Richard. I was pretty pleased to capture this. I loved his outfit/uniform. Not sure how I got him so clear with the motion, but it worked, especially with the processing. Without, it made me kinda queasy.
