Last night, Mike and I did a dinner riverboat cruise on the OH river.
Loved coming back and seeing Cincinnati all lit up. I had my point and shoot, no tripod and we were moving so I decided to try an ICM shot and rather liked the effect.
I'm wishing for lights and drama like that but not much of it in my small village....going to get babysitters one night so hubby can keep me company in the dark whilst I go down some night photography now its getting darker earlier!
I love the effect. This is from my favorite shooting ground. We have a gorgeous city that really shows off. We are going down - at least planned now - next Friday night to shoot fireworks after the Reds game. Too many folks for the Labor Day one.
@jocasta I really loved how this turned out. I like to try different things. Cause who can compete with the likes of Michael Elliot when it comes to city shots?! @michaelelliot
Thank you all so much for your great comments and kindness and even faves on this shot. I really did like the effect and enjoy mixing it up and trying new things. Today, I tried another spin on the skyline...I flipped the town upside down. Thanks so much for your great support!!!
Hi Amanda, I just had to let you know what happened with six word story. I posted six thinking I had thoroughly checked them all and the shot I had in there as #1 had 7 words as Annie pointed out to me!!! Aarrghh!! I hope you don't mind that I put your shot in it's place so your photo now has a handicap as there were already some votes. I'm so sorry!!
Oh and I should also say your photo was of course one of the original ten or so I chose and I think it's magnificent. I hope you don't feel it's a backhanded compliment. You know what it's like trying to narrow down to six :(
@bella_ss Oh it is so hard to do. I really am honored to be in there again...and honestly hope I don't win as I just hosted. So glad to have that handicap. Thanks for picking me, lady!
@thresheg Really appreciate that, Graham!!
@newbank Oooh, that will be fun. Wish I could go with you!
@kwind Thanks so much, Kim.
@lindacarol Thanks, Linda. I liked that.
