Love the way it feels to be in nature. The quiet stillness of the woods. Against my better judgement, I went for a walk alone in the yellow woods yesterday. I'm usually very cautious. I did have the dog, and bags of her poo. And luckily came out just fine.
It was just amazing, though, to be immersed in the yellow. To be surrounded by the sunny color. To hear the crunch of the leaves under our feet. To be put in my proper place.
It's so awesome when you are looking up. There's lots to see up there that you miss when you look down or straight ahead.

P.S. I am so excited, for today I am meeting up with 2 local 365 ladies, Meg @megmills and Cathy @cdonohoue . I've been 365 and Facebook friends with Cathy for about 2 years and have yet had a meet up work out. Guess where we are going?! To the woods to relish in fall!!!
Love your title, and indeed fall is there in the air, there´s just so many wonderful things about this time of the year to love. Protected by a bag of poo, lol -love that idea. Can´t imagine having to be cautios in the woods, here in Finland it´s realtively safe to go by yourself almost anywhere, no poo needed.
@susale My father in law was a cop. I've heard stories. It's just better for a woman to not put herself in bad situations. But yes, the poo kept me safe. And the pup who would roll over an pee on herself rather than protect.

@northy Not in the woods. I'll walk around the neighborhood, but not into a remote place by myself. And when I do, I am very aware of my surroundings. Like today, I noticed the creepy guy sitting in his vehicle near the start of the trail and wondered if I should go in. Could he be a creeper?
