Oh Little Cincinnati Town by alophoto

Oh Little Cincinnati Town

How still we see thee lay.

I've been singing carols and having fun with editing and selfies. Stay tuned.

This was a skyline shot from my riverboat date night over the summer. Taken handheld with a point and shoot on a moving boat. Not too shabby considering. I was wanting to make the skyline into a Christmas tree, but that wasn't working out so this was plan B.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas...can you believe 2014 is almost over?! Wow, where did that time go?
This would make such a wonderful Christmas card. Lovely work - I did night shots handheld with a p&s at my last NYC visit and I know exactly how difficult they are. FAV

So pretty!

Those lights on the water are fit right in with the holiday decorating frenzy we're all involved with. I like the snow you've added.
December 3rd, 2014
Excellent shot! I assume you added that star?
December 3rd, 2014
@shesnapped Yes, it looked more like a modern day Bethlehem scene and Christmassy that way:).
December 3rd, 2014
very nice. star is a fab touch

December 3rd, 2014
@homeschoolmom They have Scuba Santa this time of year. And you can pet sharks, Thanks!
December 3rd, 2014
@amandal Oh, that would be so cool. When we were there a shark sneezed on my youngest son when he was petting it.
December 3rd, 2014
@homeschoolmom Not many people can say they were sneezed on by a shark!!
December 3rd, 2014
Aww, and same to you! Lovely, lovely Christmas Greetings.
December 3rd, 2014
This is such a great shot and love how festive you made it for Christmas. This year flew by like they all do. Pouring down rain here and windy too. Lots of accidents and lots of street flooding as it has rained leaves that were all ready to fall. Enjoying this gray day and the 60 degree temp. FAV I do love the star you put in the sky. Would make awesome Christmas cards.
December 3rd, 2014
Cool card image! Some "little town" ;-).
December 3rd, 2014
Pretty night shot!
December 3rd, 2014
@sbolden It is a little big town. It's a nice sized city with a smaller town feel. I live in the burbs outside of town.
December 3rd, 2014
Merry merry Christmas to you too, this would make an excellent Christmas portrait and yes, just a while ago it was new year 2013 and now 2014 is almost over, where did it go indeed :O
December 3rd, 2014
Seasons greetings to you, too... nice "re-purposing" for the holidays.
December 3rd, 2014
Beautiful capture and processing.
December 3rd, 2014
Fantastic night capture. Love your use of the adjective "little" - looks like a full-grown city to me. Enjoy your Holiday Season.
December 3rd, 2014
@tonydebont It's little compared to NYC:). Not so little a town, but does have a smaller town feel. Cincy is a great city. Thanks, Tony!!!

December 3rd, 2014
Your town is hardly little! As @tonydebont says! Seen across the water is really bright and beautiful - like that hymn!
