Just one more for Vicki as she suggested a tighter crop (and I went to b&w for more mystery and drama).
Good disguise, eh?
Here is a funny joke about a blonde in disguise. Guess I have it backwards here, but...:
Tired of constant blonde jokes, a blonde dyes her hair brown. She goes for a drive in the country and sees a shepherd herding his sheep across the road.
"Hey, shepherd, if I guess how many sheep are here, can I keep one?" she asks.
The shepherd agrees. She blurts out, "352!"
The shepherd is stunned but keeps his word and allows her to pick a sheep.
"I'll take this one," she says proudly. "It's the cutest!"
"Hey lady," says the shepherd. "If I guess your real hair color, can I have my dog back?"
Telling more jokes in costume at Mad Hatters today: @madhatters
@roseolivia Aw, thank you!!! I told blond jokes at Mad Hatters today. Do you know those types of jokes or do you have a different version where you are?
I actually prefer the original; it looks more candid than the cropped version, which has something if a 'studio' look about it. I think I would have liked to see the first one in b&w. Well done anyway, for both of them, we only learn by trying.
@wordpixman It's funny how different opinions are. I am married to an I only like color photos man. I often like b&w for the drama. I had a more sassy version that was mostly b&w with some red that I loved. I did a facebook poll and got so many differing opinions, but color won by a slight margin. Most of the people who responded were photographers, too. And today the b&w wins thus far on 365. Oh well. Win some you lose some.
This says "spy" to me- the other (color) says Marilyn Monroe in the Seven Year Itch! They're both fun and well done! And I think the color vs. b/w question is quite similar to the Canon vs. Nikon preference question- it all boils down to personal taste!
I like this crop with black and white best! or the color that you posted to madhatters! For some reason the song black magic woman popped in my head... I don't even know why.
I love your pose, the use of black and white plus, the composition! I've just been having a brain drain when it comes to Mad Hatters themes (and I love Mad Hatters)! Being a blonde--why didn't I think of blonde jokes??!! Great shot, Amanda!
Looked at all three in the series and I think I land on this one as a favorite although the others have their own strengths & message. The joke is great! :)
@dh Thank you very much!!:)))
Cool disguise. I thought you had snagged yourself a model, until I read that it's actually you.
