I went on a quest today to find spring. I ran around the neighborhood crawling around people's yards shooting early signs of spring, daffodils and such and then went back to my house and shot my grass. It looked so pretty sparkling in the sun.
Afterwards, I had to change my pants...all wet from dew and mud. Worth it!:)
And now it is snowing. Go away, snow, come back next winter!!
Love this sort of bokeh and colour! Your settings don't give me much learning on how to take such a good photo. I would have thought a complete change would have been necessary! Love the title - just get rid of the 'grrrr'! fav
@marcoh I LOVE being barefoot in the grass. Too bad it was almost icy out there today. Just the other day I was in flip flops and doing handstands on the grass.
this is a beauty, kiddo. i won't do that though, dog poo or traces thereof all around here. maybe when the grass outside my window grows. even then, i carry a garbage bag to lie on. or i can use the camera with the vari-angle screen. :-)
I absolutely love this! I've seen it with my eyes many times, but never been able to capture the same beauty with the camera. Most definitely will have to keep trying. This is just stunning. Fav
@milaniet Oh thank you...yes, keep trying. It was so hard to focus. And I had to lay flat on my belly on the ground...got all wet and muddy and had to change my pants and fleece. Get low, maybe manual focus and fire. I think I will try again when I get my new 35mm lens soon.
I lied down in the wet (still brown) grass yesterday to shoot some bokeh in a patch of snow still on the ground. I got wet too. To make matters worse, I didn't use the picture.
Well, I don't want to kiss your Grass, but it does look good enough to lick that dew right off of it!! Love the sparkle and it makes for some great bokeh doesn't it? FAV!
Beautiful! Glad to see you are still up to your crazy neighborhood antics so you get the shot. We had snow yesterday. I am so sick of this weather. I can't wait until spring arrives.
Gorgeous photo.....beautiful bokeh, and those sparkly dewdrops so, so very pretty......and, definitely worth crawling on your belly on wet grass to get this shot!! We might look weird doing this, but it is all so worth it at the end! FAV +++
