Purpliciousness

Spring is so delicious...to the eyes and senses. And to the critters apparently.

So so glad I took this photo when I did as the next day these sweet lovely purple grape hyacinths were eaten down to the stalks. Consumed. Some were even torn from the ground, bulbs and all.

Hope they tasted good. I sure enjoyed looking at them for a day and glad to have immortalized them in a photo.

As I was shooting these and some dandelions on my lawn, my neighbor took a break from mowing his lawn to see what on earth I was laying down to photograph.

Pretty little weeds, small insignificant stuff that is easy to miss unless we look. Glad I looked and saw while I could.

Having a time logging into 365 because we installed Net Nanny on our computers and 365 is blocked for nudity. Hope to get that rectified soon as uploading was a real pain in the neck today.
Lovely capture. Glad you got it before the total destruction. The focus and lighting are beautiful!

What a lovely spring photo. These flowers remind me of my childhood as my Mum always had them growing in the garden.

What a beautiful shot, Amanda. I love what you write and truly miss it. I need to spend more time on here. I see a lot of flowers in our neighborhood and need to get back to my walking and taking photos. FAV

These hyacinths are so very beautiful, and I am so sorry that they got eaten up.... :-(( They smell good, too. Is there anything you can do about those chomping critters besides photographing them when you see them?! Glad you got this shot while you could!

Timely capture, delightful colour.

You are on a roll with these beautiful flower shots. Love the bokeh and another fav. Didn't quite understand what you meant by Net Nanny and 365 blocking nude photos?? I wonder if that applies to nude statues.....LOL!

@cimes1 I think it's my own project it is blocking.
