Move Along, Nothing to See Here by alophoto

Move Along, Nothing to See Here

I came home to this fella on my back deck today. I went down, got my camera and army crawled to the window. This was my first shot. I got many many more and the first sneaky surprise shot was the best. In the rest he was just show boating.

I had a great productive morning of filling up the bird feeder and hummingbird feeder, watering my deck garden, putting out critter feed and trimming the trees so I can see the bird feeder.

Glad to have seen some fruits of my labor.

Gosh, I love where I live!!

P.S. Last weekend's snake made the TT. Thanks so much for your awesome support this week that put it there and put me on the PP for 3 shots in a row. Unheard of for me!
Oh this is just amazing!! FAV

Well done wildlife photographer of the year!

A spectacular pov and a fav for me...now if I just had a capture of you army crawling to the window, my day would be complete :)
May 23rd, 2015
Hahaha! Low crawl to the rescue! Go, GI Amanda! FAV!
May 23rd, 2015
Awesome! I love that your army crawled! That is true dedication!

Great, head on shot!

These are interesting animals. Except when they get into things that you don't want them too. They have raided our bird feeders of seed and stolen blocks of suet from suet feeders. Farmers hate them because they raid their sweet corn fields. But the do look cute!

Oh he's adorable. Great capture! We have them all over Toronto and they are a problem but so cute. fav

I have a photo of a couple of raccoons, but they are in cages... we caught them, and they now have brand new homes. They were tearing down our bird feeders every night and I am so afraid they will find our fish pond. Our fish are 15 years old and I don't want them to be a raccoon's dinner. Your shot is so much better than mine (I didn't post them). :)

Congratulations on the TT and this photo should at the very least make it to the PP also!!!! He's so darn cute!!! I know they are supposed to carry rabies but sometimes you just take the chance and have to get close!!! I can just see you doing the GI Crawl!!! ROFL!!! FAV!
May 23rd, 2015
Good focus and pov. Did you really get that close??

Great surprise capture of this cute little fella. Congrats on TT and 3 PPs in a row. I also had 3 PPs in a row this week, I do believe Ross has tweaked the "magic monkeys"!

@marcoh Hey Marco...I got close...maybe 5-6 feet away, but I was inside and behind glass. I also cropped the shot in to see it better. Thanks for your kindness!!

@soboy5 Love it that he messed with the monkeys. They needed some messin'.

Hey Rocky says to tell his cousin "hi". Raccoons empty bird feeders faster than the speedy squirrels . Congrats on the TT even though it was a SCARY snake :-)
May 23rd, 2015
@amandal I knew it! Just like with the snake, you are fooling us ;) Still a great photo tho :)
May 23rd, 2015
@marcoh Not trying to...I mentioned window in the description.
May 23rd, 2015
Ha! Cute capture!

Look at his guilty (at least, to me!) little face! Sweet, but a pest. I also like his clever "hands" holding his snack. Nice!

@yrhenwr Not hardly, but I aint too shabby either. Just think what I could do with more lens:).
May 23rd, 2015
what a cool visitor, but I am thinking that if they eat fish, he better stay on your side of the pond as we have fish in our garden :)
May 23rd, 2015
Wow, look at this masked character!! What a wonderful capture!! And, so glad to see your shots on TT....that snake was amazing!! :-)))
