Wonderful happy shot, I've been lucky hubby has been home for 4 weeks in a row but its back to 2 weeks Saudi - 2 weeks home, He had an email ...the good news is you are highly regarded....The bad news is they want you there full time....BUT hubby has said NO. the best he will do is 2 weeks there / 2 weeks home
Great shot....wonderful pose.....love the left leg wrapped on your man....and, don't think I did not notice the red shoes, even though they are discreetly hidden behind the luggage!! Very creative, and so much joy and happiness! Three kids, and no hubby must be exhausting....glad he is back!!
@panthora Glad there was still a peep of the red shoes. I was annoyed with the placement of the luggage...it blocked, but then I didn't want to nitpick the moment. We almost did a redo later, but that would NOT be the same. I am so glad he is back. It was a long coupla weeks, but we made it through without too much drama, thankfully. I don't think I could be alone on a regular basis.
@lesip That was what inspired the shot. Lemme take a selfie:). I had the tripod set up, remote out, camera checked and focused when he was almost home. And we did!!!:)
@amandal you think ahead girlfriend and made it easy for him to agree. I might kind of copy this for our anniversary if I can get my husband to agree. I'm not the vixen you are so maybe I should get his expression when I ask him. LOL
I can relate to that two week absence. My hubby usually works away two weeks and then is home for a week. This time we him for 10 days and we've had so much fun. I love your shot!
@kwind Oh Kim, how hard that must be...the two weeks was a huge challenge for me. The last time he was gone for a week, all hell broke lose..that is when I was dealing with the great lice crisis all on my own. Once when he traveled when Clara was an infant, I had both older kids throwing up throughout the night...getting up to clean their beds and then getting up to nurse baby. Yep, actually this time was pretty calm, but gosh he missed so much.
Oh, just adorable. Teamwork.. that is how it gets done. Time apart is so difficult. We lived apart for two years, before the kids arrived. Thank heavens, not so much afterwards. Your set-up is charming and so are the red shoes. :)
