And my birthday date for last night. We had a nice time. It was low key and great. Went out to dinner at an old favorite standby(none of the new places we were considering were calling to us), went downtown in search of a patio bar...explored, walked around, finally found a place that was closed (Sunday nights aren't the best going out night, but I liked walking around the city at dusk).
And on the way home, we stopped at an arcade bar and played a few games...PacMan, Burger Time, Fix it Felix (it is really a game, who knew?). I stink at video games and Mike and I were the old creepy ones in the bar. Strange when that happens.
My day was great, too...breakfast out with my family, church, a pedicure (so pampering and nice...needed, too). And then I got home to an empty house which is like a dream to a mom of 3.
I did get a call that Mike was broken down in my car with the kids, so I had to rush off soon to rescue them. The jump didn't work, we had to get the van towed and I am carless today. But even with that, it was a fine day.

Happy 39th Birthday, Amanda! The 30s really are wonderful years and it looks to me like you've made them a riot. Glad you've got this awesome guy to celebrate with. He's such a sport to pose for you and your camera.
