They are so incredibly graceful in the way they soar and glide. Great shot. It really captures that. Curious what went into your decision to letterbox it. It looks good, but I'm undecided whether I like it better than if you hadn't.
I actually love Vultures. They rarely kill, but rather, their meals are already expired. So they do their part in helping with the clean up!! With that said, lovely capture, Amanda. Love the silhouette and processing suits the shot and POV.
You know, I get that same sense of foreboding when I see a bunch of these black beasts circling over head. It can only means something's had a bad day down on earth... lol about you making a point to look lively.
Super negative space composition... I believe that there is a challenge out there, right now, for such a shot. In the meantime, dance, or fog a mirror, or something! :)
It's OK Amanda.. carrion is what they are after and I do believe that you are very much alive and kicking! This does have a touch of menace though. I like it.
