Pitch black out, you are in the middle of a great dream, and you hear a door crack, a pitter patter of small feel and then your eye pried open and wicked evil light spilling in, jolting you awake. Open Your Eyes Mom: My Clock Says 6!
I was one such awful kid. I so pried my mother's eyes open when I wanted her up. Anyone else do this or have it done to them?

Oh, this is so cute! My mother would fall asleep on the couch while watching a ball game on television. If we tried to change the channel, she would say, "I was watching that!" I thought of a kiddism for you. Children often sit or lie like pretzels while watching television.
Ha ha such a great idea. One kiddism that comes to mind is the bored - are we nearly there yet - from the back of the car 5 minutes after setting off on a long journey. Although I guess that would be pretty hard to replicate.
Children wake their parents up by opening their eyes? I'd hate to think what would happen if someone did that to me. Small child or not that fool's going down.
@carla42 I was a wicked child. Seriously wicked. So glad I grew up ok. Maybe this was one of the few wicked things I did...other than this, I was mostly goodish.:) Fool's going down. LOVE it!!!
Hahaha! I remember those days. My youngest son used to stand by the side of my bed with his face about an inch from mine, never said a word. I'd feel something, probably him breathing, and wake up to a face in mine. Freaked me out. Then he'd say, "I have to go potty." Really, you woke me up for that? LOL! I'd tell him to go potty, and if I didn't remember to tell him to go back to bed when he was done, he would come stand face to face with me again.
Very funny! And, the horizontal format suits it great! I don't think I ever did that to my mom, but I am pretty sure I had some other annoying habits! ;-))
Haha, yes, six o'clock trying to open my eyes (our children). I don't remember doing it to my parents, I think they had to wake me as I love(d) sleeping.
