Ugh, doing these is nearly worse than poking out ones eyes with a hot fork.
The coordinating and getting clothes, choosing locations, getting 5 people (and husband even suggested one dog and I said HELL NO!) to cooperate. Picking a day, a time of day. And finally getting off your duff and doing it.
Done with a tripod and remote or 10 sec self timer. It really does help to have someone behind the camera seeing if everything is in there, checking the exposure...
I wish that I pulled these off better and didn't prove myself to be such an amateur. Also, wish like heck I could keep my cool and be a little more fun with these.
So so hard to do. Kids complained of the cold, though it was a lovely day, but this made them less cooperative.
Ah, I know that feeling! Nevertheless, you guys did it! And one day the kids will be all grown up and they'll look back and say 'Remember that day?' And they'll list all their complaints and talk about how grumpy everybody was, and they'll smile, and they'll laugh .... Real life. Real memories.
