Snow Day, Snow Play

Kids are off with snow today. First official snow day (day off from school) this school year.

Not much, just a dusting, but the roads are slick and snowy.

It was my day off and I had plans to work out and shop and be alone (I'd already had a long weekend...4 days...with the kids). But plans change.

Will try to make the most of this snow day...and play.

@leananiemand Yes. Or too cold for busses to run. Today it's because the roads are covered in snow and it's still coming down. We will take it easy today.

@northy You all are so strict about school up north. One year we had so many that we had to go an extra week into the summer. A whole week off once.

@jackies365 We've had two biggish for us ones. This was from a week or so ago and just had another today. Today's was not this big. It is very pretty, but kinda a pain in the rump.:)

I don't know...looks like a fair amount to me. Not quite the five-foot tall banks I have on either side of my driveway, but still a decent amount of snow! 😜
