Get Your Creek On

Yesterday was perfect out. Just amazing weather. We watched a mama opossum try to give birth (though we got this wrong, she was really just injured and the babies were in her marsupial pouch), went to church, hung with neighbors as our kids splashed in a front yard wading pool. We even fit in a shopping trip or two and a wade at the neighborhood creek.

I slept wonderfully last night from all the fun and fresh air. Bet the kids did, too.

For some reason this picture makes me cold. It seems like it's not warm enough to be wading in the creek yet. Children are resilient though and it doesn't seem to be bothering yours a bit. A lovely composition..
