The Ice Rink in Fountain Square from 49 floors above
Yesterday we were tourists in our own city. We went downtown to see it all decorated for Christmas.
We met my parents at the downtown Christmas tree and then ventured to the top of the Carew tower for the views of the city from the 49th floor observation deck.
This was looking down to the park below where we had just come from...the Fountain Square ice rink with a bunch of ants skating around. It was a really cool view. We hope to get back and skate there sometime over break.
Then we got treats at Graeters (our local famous ice cream shop) and rode the new streetcar around town stopping and checking out the Findley Market.
It was a great time and nice way to celebrate our first day off together and start to the break.
