Birds of a Feather Eat Together by alophoto

Birds of a Feather Eat Together

Here are a couple of snow birds at the feeder in the snow yesterday.

The cardinal says: Ack, choke...These seeds are frozen!

The woodpecker: Send it back. Where is that server anyway?

I woke up to it being -1 degree F. That is 33 degrees below freezing. A cold cold day.

Keep warm.
Beautiful shot of the birds. Aren't you glad you don't have to go outside like that to eat?!

@grammyn It would be a popsicle picnic this time of year.

Great shot of the birds. We're having similar cold weather here. I thought that was bad until I checked the weather app to see that it was -8 in LaFarge WI where my friends live. Oh, yeah...memories of Minneapolis come flooding back. And let's not even think of those folks in Buffalo NY, the place I'd least like to live in the winter. :-)

Stay warm my friend .... someone hint hint needs to clean that feeder ....lol
January 6th, 2017
How does one do that? @lesip
January 6th, 2017
@lesip Maybe I need a new one. It's pretty old.

@alophoto there should be screws holding the perches and bottom on so you just unscrew. I fill my laundry tub ( you could use a large bucket) with a little liquid soap and a little clorox and dump them in. You can use a bottle brush to help clean the tube. Rinse everything real good and screw it back together. Let dry completely and you're ready to go. Buy new is easier but the feeder looks fine to me.
